“I became involved in the Buskers Festival in 2009. Since then, I have watched it grow from strength to strength each year and the Buskers Week is certainly an important part of my yearly Calendar. Major artists draw people to Coffs Harbour from all over our region as far as Armidale, Grafton and Port Macquarie and beyond.  They fill beds in our motels, eat in all our restaurants and shop in our shops – it’s a no brainer … it’s a win for the whole community.”

“We are delighted that the Buskers Festival will be returning to the Northern Beaches  and Moonee Beach Tavern again this year. This great event helped us Launch our newest venture with a bang! Our Business Plan is heavily weighted with families and tourists the main drivers. We will permanently build this Festival into our yearly events Calendar.”
Harry Barry, Moonee Tavern, June 2014

Australia’s largest Buskers Festival delivers powerful connections with the family market for clever sponsor partners and is always open to new partners to come on board.

We are very creative thinkers when it comes to what we can offer sponsor partners -  from a photo booth so the average kid can look like they are breathing fire on a green screen background to sponsor extroverts ‘starring’ as buskers in our television commercials. We’re open to ideas and open for business.

Most the day-time events draw the family crowd:

  • Mothers/fathers with primary school aged/pre-school children & grandparents
  • 65 per cent are local residents
  • 35 per cent are visitors including domestic travellers.

While the comedy night events attract:

  • White and blue collar workers
  • Men and women equally
  • People aged 25-55.

As a community event, our aim is to create a vibe for Coffs Harbour in the September school holidays and to maximise attendance numbers and reach for local residents and visitors alike. We want everyone in Coffs Harbour to see an amazing busking act!
